How to Use this Animal Size Comparison Generator
The tool is actually quite simple to use. You just need to pick an animal (e.g. polar bear or blue whale) from the dropdown list and add it to the chart for size comparison. You can remove a figure from the chart using the ‘Remove’ tab and also hide the names of all figures using the checkbox that’s below the button.
Please note also you can drag any figure to the left or right of others in case you want to change their positions.
With regards to the chart limits, there is a maximum number of 8 figures that can be added excluding the blue whale.
In order to get the best visual results for comparing animal sizes, try to do the following:

- When using a mobile device, make the view horizontal (i.e. landscape orientation)
What Animals are Available Inside the Tool
The tool will allow you to compare the size of over 90 different animals.
All animal images used are basically colorful illustrations rather than real photos. And they seem to have been drawn pretty accurately.
The list includes mostly land animals such as hyena, lion, camel, kangaroo, raccoon, zebra, squirrel and deer. The following animals are also included:
- Some specific large animals including the African bush elephant and blue whale
- All types of bears like the brown bear, polar bear and sloth bear
- Some birds such as cassowary and pelican

Please note the height data used for all animals was collected from a few reliable sources (mainly Wikipedia and Dimensions). So, you can trust the tool to be really accurate.
