How to Use this Tree Size Comparison Generator

The tool is actually quite easy to use. You just need to choose a tree species from the dropdown list and add it to the chart for size comparison. With respect to removing any figure, you can achieve that under the ‘Remove’ tab. It’s additionally possible to hide the names of all figures on the chart using the checkbox that’s below the button.

Please note also you can modify the position of any figure on the chart by dragging.

It’s worth noting there is a maximum number of 8 figures that can be added to the chart. Of course, you can always remove existing figures if you reach the limit and want to add new ones.

In order to get the best visual results for comparing tree sizes, try to do the following:

  • When using a mobile device, make the view horizontal (i.e. landscape orientation)
  • Access the tool from a computer or large tablet if at all possible

The Tree Species that are Available Inside the Tool

The tool will allow you to compare the size of 66 different trees along with a human figure.

There are many popular tree species available inside the tool. Some examples of the trees are Spruce, Larch, Cherry, Palm tree, Basswood, English Oak and Apple tree.

All tree images used are colorful illustrations rather than real photos. And they appear to have been drawn pretty accurately.

It’s worth mentioning the chart axis shows the height measurement in both metric (i.e. meters) and imperial units (i.e. feet). So, you won’t need to worry about unit conversion.
