How to Use this Rocket Size Comparison Generator
The tool is actually quite easy to use. You just need to choose a rocket from the dropdown list and add it to the chart for size comparison. With respect to removing any figure, you can achieve that under the ‘Remove’ tab.
Please note also you can modify the position of any figure on the chart by dragging.
It’s worth noting there is a maximum number of 5 figures that can be added to the chart along with a human figure. Of course, you can always remove existing figures if you reach the limit and want to add new ones.
In order to get the best visual results for comparing rocket sizes, try to do the following:
- When using a mobile device, make the view horizontal (i.e. landscape orientation)
- Access the tool from a computer or large tablet if at all possible
The Rockets that are Available Inside the Tool
The tool will allow you to compare the size of over 40 different rocket models.
Some examples of the included types of rocket are Black Arrow, Space Shuttle, Falcon, Vostok, Sputnik and Starship.

There is also a human figure that can be used for the size comparison. But it might appear too small on the chart and be barely visible due to the large size of rockets.
It’s worth noting the data were retrieved mostly from Wikipedia with some being from Astronautix.
Please keep in mind the text between brackets in the rocket’s name is simply the country of origin. For your convenience, following is the full list used: US (United States), UK (United Kingdom), FR (France), JP (Japan), CN (China), IN (India), IR (Iran), IL (Israel), DE (Germany), UA (Ukraine), BR (Brazil), SU (Soviet Union) and EU (European countries).

It’s worth mentioning the chart axis shows the height measurement in both metric (i.e. meters) and imperial units (i.e. feet). So, you won’t need to worry about unit conversion.
